A 35-year environmental and energy industry veteran, Thomas Galvin serves as a corporate director for two Scotland-based energy technology companies, ResHydro (a hydrokinetic technology company) and Marine Fuel Conversions (a combustion system technology company focused on the use of biogas and biofuels for vessels operating in the Baltic Sea, The Mediterranean Sea and the North Atlantic Ocean).

For over 35 years, Paul has been building financial, intellectual and human capital. He’s a hands-on investor and street-level entrepreneur who knows how to finance, operate, scale and exit a burgeoning enterprise. Paul is experienced in running early-stage companies. He founded both Video News International and Videovation and managed their success from startup to their sales to The New York Times and QSP/Reader’s Digest, respectively.
Paul created Plum Holdings, a $28M early stage fund concentrating on high growth media companies. Plum provided “smart” private equity capital for companies that created, aggregated, distributed, marketed and licensed high-quality content - news, information, data and entertainment.
Paul’s fund management experience began in 1981 when he managed a $100 million offshore private equity vehicle, working directly with William Donaldson (former Chairman of the SEC and the NY Stock Exchange as well as founder of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette). Paul has also structured and negotiated private placement transactions with Rockefeller & Co. for a broad spectrum of venture investments. He managed capital expansion across a host of industries for The Ford Foundation. And he has worked with Morgens, Waterfall & Vintiadis, a NYC‐based hedge fund investing in undervalued assets and later stage private placements.

Michael leads the Private Equity and Transaction Services Practice, serving a diverse group of clients, including private equity funds, commercial banks, investment banks, and mezzanine lenders. With more than 40 years of experience, Michael is a recognized expert in transaction services, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions, assisting both public and private companies with financing transactions and private placements. Michael graduated from Baruch College of the City College of New York (now City University of New York) with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. He did post-graduate work at New York University Stern School of Business.

Jerry Hollister

Jerry works with US technology entrepreneurs to help them win R&D funding through 11 U.S. government agencies via SBIR/STTR federal R&D grants and contracts, and other non-dilutive funding; financially manage those awards; and move toward commercialization.
Dr. David Filer

David Filer received his doctorate from Tel Aviv University. Thereafter, David worked at the NIH, the Pasteur Institute, and at Hebrew University.
Dr. Filer also spent over 20 years at NYU Medical Center both as a faculty member and researcher becoming a leading expert of recombinant DNA.
He has since gained significant business experience advising Investment Banks, Venture Capital firms, as well as directly with private and public biotech companies regarding their business models and financings.
